Social Media Policy
Social Media is defined as any form of online publication or presence that allows interactive communication, including, but not limited to social networks, blogs, Internet websites, Internet forums and wikis (includes but is not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, etc.).
The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) strives to provide all students with access to an education that prepares them with the tools to succeed in college and career. Learning to use social media responsibly, both in and outside of the school community, is imperative to a students' success.
Students may not create any social media accounts that use the Fort Hamilton High School name or logo without the express written authorization of the Principal.
