Happy Juneteenth!!!!! The acknowledgment of this day as a federal holiday is significant for our school, our city, and our country.
All classes continue to meet June 21-24 with an abbreviated schedule on Friday, June 25th with periods 1, 2 and 3 meeting. It’s important that all students continue to attend remotely with special urgency for students who need to complete work to earn credit and strengthen skills. Attendance will be taken and reported daily.
COLLECTION OF SCHOOL PROPERTY: Staff will be organized in the cafeteria to collect devices, books, uniforms, instruments and other school items on June 21, 22, and 24 from 10am to 2pm. Students graduating or transferring to another school MUST return their device if assigned by FHHS or the DOE. Please return school items during these times so we can assess items and needs for the upcoming school year. Diplomas to graduates will not be distributed unless items are returned.
Information about Summer Programs, (6-week classes totally in person, NX Recovery is blended, and Enrichment totally in person) will be shared soon. Students who have credit gaps and/or earned an NX in SY2020-21 will automatically be registered for the appropriate summer program. An opportunity to register for Summer Enrichment will open June 23rd.
