Fort Families and Students: April 5, 2022
The Muslim month of Ramadan has begun, and FHHS wishes our celebrating families four weeks of blessings, enlightenment, and joy. Happy Ramadan!
For Muslim students fasting for Ramadan, we are providing an alternate location during lunch periods in the auditorium balcony. This will alleviate students having to be in the cafeteria with food and other students eating. In addition, the Muslim Student Association will celebrate on April 28th at 7:30pm at FHHS. You are welcome to bring one family member, but you must RSVP by 4/14/2022 via the form below. The form will close after 200 people have registered so make sure you get your response in ASAP!

Reminder that there is a PTA meeting on Thursday, April 7 at 7pm. Registration for this virtual meeting is required at:

Annual School Survey EXTENDED to April 15: More time to complete the Learning Survey to provide our school feedback. I have challenged our families to reach 50% completion and I’ll dye my hair Tiger BLUE!! We encourage all parents to visit www.NYCSchoolSurvey.org to share feedback. Your family access code is the letter "f" (lower case) followed by your child's OSIS number. Example: f123456789. The window to complete the survey is NOW OPEN until April 15, 2022
Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP): Applications are still being accepted until April 22, 2022 for summer jobs. SYEP Summer 2022 has allocated 400 jobs in its Direct Recruitment program for Fort Hamilton HS students. Use PIN# CR-91045 when applying to the direct recruitment program. Please see our website at fthhs.org for a direct link to the application and more information.
A reminder that we have tutoring after school across all subject areas and select tutoring on Saturdays from 9am to 11am. In addition, our library is open until 5pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for students to use computers and other resources. Please encourage your child to take advantage of these opportunities.
