Fort Students and Families,
The 2022-23 school year has ended and we extend congratulations and thanks to everyone for a positive and productive school year. Report cards for Term 2 were distributed at school on June 27thalong with diplomas and transcripts to graduates. Report card information is available on NYCSA as well.
School is closed the week of July 3-7 and we’ll return to start Summer School 2023 on Monday, July 10. Summer courses and schedules will be emailed to students via fthamiltonhs.org account no later than July 7. We have 3 in-person classes starting at 8am, 10am and 12:15pmrespectively. We urge all students to participate in this opportunity to recover credit this summer.
We will continue student access to use the fthamiltonhs.org gmail account during the summer months, but all students must prepare to use their nycstudent.netaccounts at the start of the new school year. Use of REMIND will be a good way to stay in touch, as the current system to send phone messages is no longer available as of July 1, 2023 and the NYC DOE message system is not available until September.
Thank you for your contributions to a busy and successful year at Fort Hamilton HS. The first day of school for students returning will be September 7, 2023. Metro cards will be distributed the 2 days prior, so look for messages about location and time. Please check the website for information at fthhs.org.
