NYC 2026 School Survey - We need your feedback!

Each year, families and teachers are invited to share feedback about their school’s learning environment by completing the NYC School Survey. The purpose of this survey is to gather valuable information that school leaders use to help improve our school community.

The 2026 NYC School Survey is available to families from February 9 through April 1. Our goal is to reach 100% family participation! Your honest feedback is voluntary and completely confidential, and it gives you an opportunity to share your experiences and thoughts with us. Families are asked to complete ONE survey for EACH child.

The Service in Schools (SIS) Leadership Institute is a leadership and youth service program for NYC public schools students in grades 10–12. It consists of a 5-day in-person institute during spring break in April, an after-school work session in early May, and an in-person, day-long day of service with elementary school students on at the end of May.

This program offers students the opportunity to develop leadership skills and inspire youth, while gaining knowledge from a variety sources on an issue impacting their community.

Students interested in participating in the Leadership Institute should complete the program application by 11:59pm on Friday, February 13.

To request your Fort Hamilton High School transcript, please complete the Transcript Request Form. You can find the form on our school's website. Once your request is submitted, please allow 1-2 business days for processing.

All Students Are Still Required To Come With Their School Issued Cell Phone Pouch And School Id For Any Regents Exam Day.

The state aligned policy is as follows:
Upon entering the building, students will place their phones into their pouches with their IDs in the window. Once in the classroom, proctors will collect pouches with their IDs on the window outside of his/her pouch. Students can alternatively attach their ID with a rubber band. All electronics including smart watches and smart glasses must be secured in the pouch or collected with ID attached with a rubber band. Pouches will be returned at the end of the exam. Both teachers should be present at the start and the end of the exam to facilitate the collection and return of electronics.
