The FHHS School Library is excited to invite you—and your students—to our Annual Read Aloud Day, a celebration of storytelling, poetry, and the joy of the spoken word!
Whether it’s a favorite excerpt, poem, fairytale, dramatic scene, or a powerful piece of nonfiction, we encourage you to share a work that inspires you. Feel free to read solo or gather a group of colleagues or students for a collaborative performance.
No memorization needed—just enthusiasm and creativity!

Ready to dig into something new this Spring Break? Join the Urban Gardening Institute from April 6-10, 2026, at Fort Hamilton High School! This is a fantastic opportunity for all 10th, 11th, and 12th graders to learn about sustainable gardening, meet new friends, and get your hands dirty in the best way possible. Don’t miss out on this chance to grow your green thumb and make a positive impact on the environment! Apply by March 20, 2026. Let's plant the seeds for a sustainable future together!
