Fort Hamilton High School Cell Phone Policy Still In Effect

The Fort Hamilton High School cell phone policy is still in effect on the last day of school, Friday, June 26, 2026.

• All students, including seniors, must bring their school-issued phone pouch and school ID to enter the building.

• This policy will continue next school year (2026–2027). Returning students must bring their pouch on the first day, Thursday, September 10, 2026.

• Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors should keep their pouch in a safe place over the summer so they have it ready.

• If you don’t have your pouch on the first day, your entry will be delayed.

• Graduating seniors can donate their pouch when they pick up their diploma this Friday. These donations will help replace lost pouches for next year.

Audition or be part of crew for the Fall Play, "Little Women"

The 2026 Fall Play is "Little Women" - cast and crew forms are due July 1st at midnight

We are looking for actors and crew - lights, set, sound, props, costumes, publicity, makeup, and dramaturgy. No experience necessary! If there's something you're interested in, someone in our student crew will teach you. Have fun, make friends, and learn new skills. There's something for everyone!

If you want to audition, you will need to prepare a short audition video by selecting one side. You may read the side or perform from memory. Alternatively, you can record a monologue from any play set between 1800 and 1920.

Attention Graduating Seniors- Return NYCPS Laptops/iPads Before June 16, 2026

As you prepare for graduation, this message serves as an important reminder regarding New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) devices.

We’re glad to have provided a device to use at home while enrolled in a New York City Public School. The device must now be returned to the Programming and Technology Office (Room 268) no later than Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

This includes ANY laptops or ipads you may have received from:
Fort Hamilton High School
Any NYC Public Elementary, Middle, or High School
A device mailed to you during the COVID-19 pandemic
If your device has been lost, damaged, or is not functioning, you must speak with a staff member in the Programming and Technology Office (Room 268) before Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Students with outstanding devices WILL NOT RECEIVE a diploma until their account is cleared. Fort Hamilton High School is accountable for all devices and asks all graduating Seniors to stop by room 268 during their lunch or free period to check the status of their accounts.

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.
