Congratulations Eshal Shakoor and Nicole Liu - Poetry Out Loud, Citywide Finalists

Eshal Shakoor and Nicole Liu represented FHHS in the citywide finals for Poetry Out Loud,a national poetry recitation competition at SUNY Global Center on February 24th. Eshal recited "And If I Did, What Then?" by George Gascoigne and "Across the Street" by Austin Segrest. Nicole recited "Today" by Billy Collins and "Nothing to Do" by James Ephriam McGirt. Students recite one pre-20th Century poem and one poem 25 lines or fewer. Congratulations- Go Tigers!
