2021 Sports Awards

This school year has presented many challenges, but we are happy to say that we have risen to the occasion!  Thanks to the hard work of our coaches, the school administration, our athletes, & their families, the 2021 Spring Sports season was a success!  FHHS is one of the only NYC Public Schools that can say it successfully brought back ALL eleven of its' Spring teams.  We are also proud of the fact that we managed to also bring back one Winter team, & five Fall teams!  

 

From April 5 - June 25 there were 17 Varsity Sports running concurrently!  Something that had never been done before.  What is even more impressive is that not a single Covid case was transmitted through our sports teams as the testing & safety protocols in place did their part to keep everyone healthy & safe!

To our Seniors...we couldn't have done it without you & your leadership!  Best of luck in all you do in the future!  Don't forget to come back & visit!

 

To our Underclassmen...we look forward to seeing you on the athletic field next season!  Be sure to stay on top of your academics!  Don't forget, you are a STUDENT-ATHLETE & the student must always come first!
